Hello and welcome to Bella Fig ~ a place dedicated to finding unique gifts for baby and home that are beautiful, inspiring and thoughtful.

My name is Marinella and Bella Fig is my way of sharing a love of beautifully crafted products, supporting artisans, and finding unique gifts, while also being kind to our beautiful earth.

I have always enjoyed visiting markets, meeting artists, and searching out unique pieces for myself and for gifting. It
wasn’t until my first job in NYC when I realized my passion. While working in finance I ended up being the go-to-gift buyer at the office after helping the sales staff with gift ideas for clients and getting rave reviews. The clients just adored them! We received lots of lovely notes about the gifts and clients asking where they could buy more.

As my love of sourcing and sharing the work of local and indie artisans grew I realized that I wanted to create a place
where I could share my gift ideas with family and friends.  Thus, Bella Fig was born.

Here you will find the colorful, adorable, earth-friendly yet affordable designs that capture my heart. Bella Fig showcases the treasures that are all around us and the simple beauty of a creative life. I hope my collection will inspire people to shop consciously while loving every second of it!

A little about me…

I was born in Boston and grew up speaking three languages: Greek, Spanish and English (my father is Greek and my mother is Colombian).  I currently live in NYC.  I am inspired by the simple joys: connecting with friends, spending time with family and taking walks in the woods with my husband and our sweet pup Koukla.
